Temporary permits are granted the authority to expand the target nationwide beyond specific regions only for projects that have sufficiently proven safety.

The period will be two years from December 6 to December 5, 2023, and if the relevant laws and regulations are not revised within the period, they will be automatically extended by two years.

A total of 14 companies participated in Jeju Island’s electric vehicle charging service regulatory free zone, starting in December 2019, with a total of 18.3 billion won invested, including 10.9 billion won in state funds, 4.7 billion won in local expenses and 2.7 billion won in the private sector.

By detailed business, the charging infrastructure enhancement project can reduce charging time by 50% by merging energy storage (ESS) with existing chargers. In addition, it has the advantage of being able to upgrade its performance without replacing a fast charger.

The mobile charging service may be charged without space constraints by using a mobile charger and may save waiting time for using a fixed charger.

The charging infrastructure sharing platform is a sharing business using privately owned chargers. Owners can generate new income and expand charging infrastructure without investing separate resources.

The special diagnostic service for electric vehicles has the advantage of providing diagnostic services through mobile inspection vehicles, so electric vehicle users do not have to visit the inspection site.
